Carol's work begins with color, not composition — each painting is built from a single emotional note that expands outward through layers of oil and cold wax. She trained at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and has spent the past decade developing a practice rooted in slow, tactile mark-making. Her paintings have been exhibited at Red Dot Miami and Artexpo New York, and she was a finalist in Artavita's 74th juried contest.
